A great help

I had no hot water in the house and had recently moved into the property (from another country) so I didn't know anything about the boiler system or set up. The person that came didn't quite check to make sure the system was working before he left, but was probably distracted but the fact that the water pressure had dropped and showed me how to fill it up again. When I called again because the water was still not hot, I was thoroughly impressed by the result. The owner showed up and step by step went through to sort out the problem and didn't charge me anything extra. It turned out to be an intermittent electrical problem that was not allowing the boiler heat to reach the hot water tank occasionally! It required a lot of patience and since he knew the people that had worked on and owned the property before, he was able to makes some calls to understand the wiring. Brilliant deductive work! The only con was that the 24 hr service they describe is not accurate and I needed to leave several messages to be able to get through to speak to someone. However, apologies were made for this (it is a small business) and hopefully, they will be better about returning calls etc. Nonetheless, they were there on time and did not keep me waiting.
